Abstract

|
Mesenchymal hemartoma of the liver is a benign lesion and about 30 cases have been reported in the literature. The authors experienced a case of esenchymal hamartoma of the liver, which was not reported in Korea, a 47 year old Korean man who was admitted with jaundice. Laboratory findings were compatible with that of obstructive jaundice and exploratory laparatomy was done under the impression of epatoma mainly left lobe.
Mesenchymal hamartoma was confirmed -,y operation and histologic examination. and apla a of the left lobe of the liver was also noted.
